Everything you need to know for a smooth, fun, and memorable first visit, including tips, rentals, and slope guidance.

2.

FOR YOUR FEET

Wear a pair of wool or synthetic socks, opting for warmth over bulk. Avoid wearing 2 pairs of socks.

3.

FOR YOUR BODY

4.

FOR YOUR HEAD

We highly recommend you wear a helmet. Choose one that cover your ears.

Other helmets, like bicycle helmets, are not recommended.

A pair of ski goggles and a neck warmer will avoid wind burn.

A MONT
CASCADES STORY

Mont Cascades is owned and operated by Rick Hunter, the Hunter family, and the Cascades operating team: people with a deep, personal connection to skiing, snowboarding, and winter life.
Rick Hunter spent five years on the Canadian Alpine Ski Team and competed at Can-Am level and in World Cup events. His passion for the mountain runs deep, and Mont Cascades is part of the way he gives back to a sport and a community that have meant so much to him.
That same spirit lives at the heart of Mont Cascades today: creating a place where skiers and riders of all ages, and the families who love winter with them, can come together season after season.
