Meet

THE PATROL

The Mont Cascades Patrol is made up of a close-knit team of 60 members who can be recognized by their distinctive red and white.  The Canadian Ski Patrol open and close the hills, promote safety and respond when accidents do happen.  It is fun and rewarding.  They are all extensively trained volunteers, who love to ski or ride as much as you do.

A MONT
CASCADES STORY

Mont Cascades is owned and operated by Rick Hunter, the Hunter family, and the Cascades operating team: people with a deep, personal connection to skiing, snowboarding, and winter life.
Rick Hunter spent five years on the Canadian Alpine Ski Team and competed at Can-Am level and in World Cup events. His passion for the mountain runs deep, and Mont Cascades is part of the way he gives back to a sport and a community that have meant so much to him.
That same spirit lives at the heart of Mont Cascades today: creating a place where skiers and riders of all ages, and the families who love winter with them, can come together season after season.
