General Inquiries

What methods of payment do you accept?

MasterCard, Visa, Amex, Interac, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and cash are accepted.

How to obtain my Pass / Ticket ?

Once you have completed the online purchase of your Pass / Ticket, you can come and collect it directly at Mont Cascades.  Then, we will take a photo of you before printing your pass.

Please don’t throw it away, because you can reload it!  Your RFID card will be reusable for the next few years.

How do RFID cards work?

The era of single use tickets will now be behind us in order to introduce rechargeable RFID cards!

Whether for seasonal passes or our tickets, access to our facilities is possible with RFID cards.  Slip the card into a pocket near your abdomen on the left side.

When you are at the chairlift, control gates will automatically open as you pass. However, it is essential not to have a cell phone or keys in the same pocket because it could create interference.

If the gate does not open, step back slightly and try again by positioning your card closer to the reader. Otherwise, step away from the line and a member of our team will be available to help you outside.

Please do not throw it away. On your next visit, you can recharge it online on our website. There will be no more waiting at the ticket booth. You will be able to go to the chairlifts directly. Another good news is that the RFID card is environmentally friendly!

How to recharge my RFID card?

Whether for a daily ticket or a Season Pass, it is possible to reload your RFID card on montcascades.ca. You will have the option to associate your RFID card (WTP number) during the purchase transaction process.

Do you have charging stations for electric vehicles?

Unfortunately, we do not have charging stations at the station. The nearest charging stations are located in the municipality of Cantley, 7 minutes away (8 River Road, Cantley, Quebec, J8V 2Z9).

When does the season start and end ?

The million-dollar question ! At Mont Cascades, the opening and closing dates are not set in advance; they depend on the weather. As soon as temperatures drop below -3°C, we start making snow on the mountain. Our greatest wish each year is to start the season in early December. As for the closing date, it all depends on the quality of the snow on the ground and the weather.

A MONT
CASCADES STORY

Mont Cascades is owned and operated by Rick Hunter, the Hunter family, and the Cascades operating team: people with a deep, personal connection to skiing, snowboarding, and winter life.
Rick Hunter spent five years on the Canadian Alpine Ski Team and competed at Can-Am level and in World Cup events. His passion for the mountain runs deep, and Mont Cascades is part of the way he gives back to a sport and a community that have meant so much to him.
That same spirit lives at the heart of Mont Cascades today: creating a place where skiers and riders of all ages, and the families who love winter with them, can come together season after season.
