Why

Mont Cascades?

Built for the way our community lives winter.

At Mont Cascades, every season is shaped by the people who ski and ride here. After a thorough analysis of 2025/2026 RFID data and daily attendance patterns, our team built the 2026/2027 operating schedule and Weekly Master Operations Plan to better reflect how our guests use the mountain.

That means a season pass designed around real demand, real habits, and the kind of winter experience our community expects from Mont Cascades.

FAQ

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

I only see Season Passes available. Are you not offering other types of passes?

For the 2026/2027 season, Mont Cascades is focusing on the Unlimited Season Pass as the core offer. We will not be offering 5/7 passes, night-only season passes, or other limited-access pass formats. This decision was made to simplify the offer and give guests the best overall value: one pass, one price, no blackout dates, and full access to the season. It’s the most flexible and complete way to enjoy winter at Mont Cascades.

Do you offer family pricing or family packs?

For the 2026/2027 season, Mont Cascades does not offer a traditional family pack. Instead, we have designed our pricing structure to make skiing accessible for everyone, with our lowest price ever and simple pricing across age groups.

This approach gives families more flexibility to build pass combinations that work best for them, without being limited by a fixed package structure. In other words, you can build your own family bundle based on your needs, while still benefiting from exceptional value across all pass types.

How do I obtain my Season Pass?

Once you’ve purchased your Season Pass online, you can pick it up directly at Mont Cascades. For new passholders, your pass can be picked up during office hours or on your first ski visit, and your photo will be taken before the pass is printed. Your pass is loaded onto an RFID card, so once you have it, keep it safe — you’ll be able to reuse it in future seasons.

What is the Master Operations Plan?

The Master Operations Plan is Mont Cascades’ operating approach for the 2026/2027 season. It was developed using recent guest demand and usage patterns, so the mountain schedule better reflects how the community actually skis and rides. The goal is to focus operations where they matter most, maximize quality, and deliver a more consistent experience aligned with guest needs and expectations.

What is the new schedule for next season?

For the 2026/2027 season, Mont Cascades will operate on a 5 days / 5 nights schedule designed to deliver the best possible experience for our community. Guests will be able to enjoy night skiing starting at 4 pm on Tuesdays, day and night skiing between 9 a.m. and 9 p.m. Wednesday through Saturdays, and full daytime access on Sundays from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

The resort will also be open every day during holidays, school breaks, and vacation periods, with any schedule adjustments reflected in the official season calendar.

What are RFID cards and how do they work?

RFID stands for Radio Frequency Identification Device. Your Season Pass is loaded onto a reusable RFID card, which gives you access through the lift gates. To use it properly, place the card in a pocket on the left side of your ski jacket — ideally by itself, away from your phone, keys, or other cards. When you approach the gate, it will detect your pass and open automatically.

How do I recharge my RFID?

You can recharge your RFID card online through the Mont Cascades online store. Just log into your account, make sure you’re using the same email and profile linked to your RFID card, select the product you want, and complete your purchase. Your new product will be added automatically to your existing card. RFID cards can also be reloaded at customer service on site, but online is the fastest option.

When is my pass valid?

Your 2026/2027 Season Pass is valid for the full 2026/2027 winter season according to the official Mont Cascades operating schedule. If you purchase during the pre-sale, new passholders can also ski for the remainder of the current 2025/2026 season, based on end-of-season operating hours. Since Mont Cascades is offering the Unlimited Season Pass, your access is designed to cover the full season without blackout dates.

What methods of payment are accepted?

Mont Cascades accepts MasterCard, Visa, American Express, Interac, and cash.

A MONT
CASCADES STORY

Mont Cascades is owned and operated by Rick Hunter, the Hunter family, and the Cascades operating team: people with a deep, personal connection to skiing, snowboarding, and winter life.
Rick Hunter spent five years on the Canadian Alpine Ski Team and competed at Can-Am level and in World Cup events. His passion for the mountain runs deep, and Mont Cascades is part of the way he gives back to a sport and a community that have meant so much to him.
That same spirit lives at the heart of Mont Cascades today: creating a place where skiers and riders of all ages, and the families who love winter with them, can come together season after season.
