Mountain Worker

Join our dynamic team for a year-round experience! In summer, you’ll be the mountain specialists, ensuring that our trails are ready for winter by carrying out tasks such as mowing, tree felling and equipment maintenance. You’ll also help preserve the environment by contributing to water quality and erosion prevention. You’ll have the opportunity to transport equipment, ensure safety in our park and take care of other necessary tasks.

In winter, you’ll become a snow wizard as you operate our snow guns, monitor snow production and take care of our equipment. Driving a snowmobile will be part of your adventure, as will ensuring the safety of our colleagues and customers on the slopes. You’ll be working closely with our operations team to ensure optimal snow conditions. On top of all that, you’ll be ready to take on new challenges as our company needs them.

The incumbent must:

– ability to work in a team, but also to work alone
– good communication skills, organizational skills and sense of direction
– attention to detail

Mechanical knowledge (small engines) is an asset.

This is a full-time, year-round position.

Snowmaking and Mowing Attendant

Join our team as a Snowmaking and Mowing Attendant, and become the magician of our mountains’ white gold! Your versatile mission involves installing our snow cannons in strategic locations, monitoring air and water hoses, solving minor problems and adjusting the direction of the cannons according to the wind. What’s more, you’ll be responsible for keeping our facilities in top condition, clearing snow from mobile guns, and ensuring safety on the slopes. Join us for an exciting winter season, where you’ll be at the heart of creating perfect snow conditions and maintaining our outdoor spaces.

The incumbent must:

Ski and/or Snowboard Instructor

As a ski or snowboard instructor at our ski resort, you’ll embody the spirit of winter and share your passion for sliding with our visitors. Under the authority of the Snow School Director, the incumbent teaches skiing and snowboarding techniques according to the client’s level, either to groups of people or in private lessons according to the program established by the resort’s Snow School.

Snow School Program Coordinator

Rental Attendant

Under the authority of the Snow School Director, the ski/board attendant is responsible for adjusting the ski/board equipment at the rental location and explaining its operation and safe use. Checks, inspects and registers equipment upon return. All other related duties.

Lift Team Leader

The Lift Team Leader is involved in the organization, management and supervision of personnel, and ensures the smooth running of ski lift operations. He/she participates in customer loading and unloading operations and in the de-icing of loading and unloading areas. Responsibilities, roles and main duties include staff supervision, planning, operations, customer service, and all other related tasks.

Lift Attendant

The Lift Attendant ensures the smooth operation of the lifts and performs the operations required for the safe loading and unloading of skiers and snowboarders. He checks lift tickets at the base before boarding. Ensures good customer service. All other related tasks.

Applies or communicates emergency procedures as required (lift evacuations, power failures, accidents and injuries, etc.).

Customer Service Attendant

The Customer Service Attendant responds to customer requests for information at the counter or by telephone. He/she informs them about all the services offered at Mont Cascades Resort and ensures their satisfaction in accordance with departmental policies and procedures. Sell all mountain services, including rentals. Receives complaints about the goods and services offered by the resort.

The incumbent must:

– speak French and English
– demonstrate customer service skills
– be able to carry out monetary transactions
– display a professional attitude and behavior (e.g. teamwork skills, autonomy, dynamism, interpersonal skills, honesty, loyalty, initiative, etc.)
– good verbal communication skills, in French and English, and attention to detail.

This is a part-time seasonal position – day/evening/weekend/holiday – full part-time possible

Food Services Team Leader

A team leader in food services (food counter, cashier, food truck) is an employee who, in addition to the primary function of either taking meal orders and serving them to customers promptly in accordance with health and safety norms and standards established by the department manager, or collecting payments at the cashier for purchases made in the cafeteria or at the food truck cashier, acts as liaison and authority with the staff in the manager’s absence.

Ensures opening and closing of food service premises. Opens and closes cash registers and performs daily counts. Checks and secures employee deposits. Ensures compliance with company policies and procedures in the absence of the manager.

The incumbent must:

– speak French and English
– customer service skills

– basic knowledge of kitchen equipment, vigilance when handling food

Food Services Attendant

A Food Service Attendant (food counter, cashier, food truck) is an employee whose primary function is either to take meal orders and serve them to customers promptly in accordance with health and safety standards set by department management, or to collect payments at the cash register for purchases made in the cafeteria or at the food truck cash register.

The incumbent must ensure product rotation, preserve food freshness and quality, keep the premises clean, ensure food and work area safety, dispose of waste and recycling, and wash dishes, equipment and work surfaces according to established standards.

The incumbent must:

Mont Cascades Ambassador

The Mont Cascades Ambassador is responsible for greeting guests as they arrive and providing them with any relevant information throughout the day. The Mont Cascades Ambassador verifies lift tickets and ensures a constant and coordinated flow in the lift lines. The Mont Cascades Ambassador must be willing to work outdoors, be friendly and approachable, and posse’s excellent communication skills.
