Lifeguard

You have completed your valid National Lifeguard Certificate and your First Aid Course? You have completed or are in the process of completing your last year of high school? Then come join the team at Mont Cascades Water Park this summer. There are several lifeguard positions available.

You have good teamwork skills, are self-reliant, dynamic, honest and have good interpersonal skills;
You are versatile, have a sense of initiative, organization, responsibility and observation;
You are tolerant and resistant to stress and extreme weather conditions, heat, heat waves.

Primary duties are:

– Supervise people around bodies of water (pools and slides) to prevent accidents;
– Assist persons in difficulty using water rescue techniques and first aid;
– Checks and ensures the proper functioning of rescue facilities and equipment;
– Completes accident reports;
– Enforces company rules and regulations.

40 hour week or part time position

Day, weekend, holiday and on-call schedule

Customer Service Attendant

First impression is key!

The Customer Service Attendant responds to customer inquiries at the counter or by telephone at the ticket office, informs them of all the services offered at Mont Cascades Resort and ensures their satisfaction in accordance with the department’s policies and procedures. The Customer Service Attendant sells all of our mountain services and products, including rentals, receives payments by cash, credit card or direct payment and computerizes member data.

The Customer Service Attendant is also responsible of duties pertaining to the arrival and reception of customers at the front gate of the park such as the verification of bags, validation of tickets and season passes.

Food Counter Attendant

The Food Counter Attendant position may be assigned to the food counter whose primary function is to take meal orders and serve them to clients in a timely manner in accordance with health and safety standards and the standards established by the management of the Service. The Food Counter Attendant must ensure the rotation of products, maintain the freshness and quality of food, ensure the cleanliness of the premises, ensure the safety of food and work spaces, dispose of waste and recycling as well as wash dishes, equipment and work surfaces according to established standards.

The Food Counter Attendant may also be assigned to the cash registers and must carry out transactions for purchases made in the cafeteria, ensure surveillance to prevent theft, ensure a constant flow of customers inside the cafeteria, participate in the cleaning of the various work surfaces, refill the points of sale during non-peak hours to maintain acceptable quantities. The Food Counter Attendant must participate in the opening and closing of the department according to procedures and perform and balance the deposits and closings of cash registers.

Cook

Under the supervision of the Food Service Manager and/or Cook, the incumbent will organize the serving areas, assist in the production of the food served and ensure the preservation of the dishes and food. Other duties the incumbent will be responsible are:

– Maintaining the workstation, tools, equipment, clean and sanitize;
– Conforming personal hygiene rules and perform cleaning tasks in food preparation areas, various islands and storage areas;
– Receiving deliveries, verifying them and ensuring stock rotation;
– Assisting in opening and closing duties according to procedures;
– Ensuring disposal of waste and recycling.

Slide Attendant

You have your cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) certificate or first aid course. You have completed or are in the process of completing your last year of high school. Then come join the team at Mont Cascades Water Park this summer. There are a few positions available for water slide attendants.

You have good teamwork skills, are self-reliant, dynamic, honest and have good interpersonal skills;
You are versatile and have a sense of initiative, organization, responsibility and observation;
You like physical work and you are tolerant and resistant to stress and extreme climate, heat, heat wave.

Primary duties include:

– Informing customers of the procedures for using the slides;
– Ensuring the application of procedures to prevent accidents;
– Supervising bathers at the start of the slides;
– Ensuring compliance with the rules and regulations;
– Notifying the lifeguard of any first aid needs;
– Responding to customer concerns and complaints.

Park Maintenance Attendant

If you love the outdoors, a position as a Park Maintenance Worker is waiting for you!

The incumbent will:

– Direct vehicles in the parking lot;
– Maintain and keep the slides clean, clean the pools;
– Maintain the plants and flowers that decorate the park;
– Clean and empty garbage cans and outhouses;
– He/she must drive a vehicle in a safe manner;
– All other related tasks.

Night Watchman

If you’re more of a solitary person, come and keep our park safe at night! That’s right, night watchman!

The incumbent must ensure the security of the site at night. He or she must be vigilant.

He or she may be called upon to perform certain tasks in the park.

Mountain Worker

For you, the challenge is the full-time schedule all year round, you want to commit yourself, you want stability, a position of mountain worker is offered to you.

The position includes 2 parts; the summer part and the winter part!

The summer component consists of:

– Collaborate in the preparation and maintenance of the water park;
– Prepare the grounds for the winter.

The winter component consists of:

– Ensuring snowmaking, safety and quality of the trails for the customers;
– All other related tasks.
